The sound of the 013 FET microphone is rich in lows, warm in the mids, and natural in the highs. This model is built according to all the classic narrow-diaphragm microphone canons and at the same time has its own unique character. The 013 series microphones capture sound with high precision and add a distinctive warmth to it, giving a musical shine to the clean response. The soft top with detailed nuances significantly simplifies the process of recording instruments with complex transients. By using a special toroidal transformer and providing an extremely low level of nonlinear distortions, the 013 FET microphone has a saturated and beautiful sound comparable to the legendary Neumann KM84. Like all Soyuz products, the 013 FET is 100% handmade at the SOYUZ factory in Tula. It is available in both the signature creamy color and classic black finishes.
