The CD transport Neo 260D uses the patented MOON Drive CD drive system and the MOON 650D control software. Furthermore, the device is equipped with the signature four-point M-Quattro stand on a gel base, making it immune to external vibrations, thus allowing the information from the compact disc to be read correctly. Digital outputs: AES/EBU, optical, and S/PDIF, ensure a stable, phase-protected digital signal.

The DAC uses a 32-bit architecture for any incoming signal. Firstly, any incoming signal is re-run through a clock generator and upsampled. The DAC is equipped with 4 digital inputs: USB (24/192), S/PDIF (x2), optical (x1). The analog cascade is fully balanced, with direct current coupling. Outputs of the analog cascade: 1 pair of RCA (unbalanced) and 1 pair of XLR (balanced).
The power supply design is based on a super powerful, ideally designed toroidal transformer, powering a large number of capacitors. Like all MOON power supplies, the Neo 260D power supply demonstrates excellent output voltage control, providing stable power characteristics in any conditions.
