The Shure SV100 is a cost-effective handheld microphone designed for everyday use in live sound, karaoke performances, presentations, recording, and similar applications. This version of the microphone includes an XLR to 1/4" connecting cable. The mic's dynamic capsule is less sensitive than a condenser, making it well suited for use on stage, while its cardioid pickup pattern helps to focus audio capture on the subject, helping to reduce feedback when sound reinforcement equipment is deployed.

The microphone features a durable metal build and requires no power to operate. An On/Off switch is provided that allows the user to quickly mute the mic.
