Maple Wood Housing
Custom IEMs with maple wood housing always have a unique and splendid appearance, and Shanling has decided to incorporate this special material into their standard products. While preserving the external appearance and the wood's acoustic characteristics, it is now available in small and easily accessible parts.
The main body of the MG600 is entirely made of stabilized century-old maple wood. The color tones vary from dark blue to very light blue, accompanied by yellow or golden veins running through it. Each pair is carefully processed and color-matched, making each one completely unique and unlike any other.
The material, made from a mixture of pigments and resin, is meticulously crafted into its final shell through CNC milling, topped with the brand's logo applied to the front panel.
Aluminum/Magnesium Driver
For the MG600, a new 10mm dynamic driver with an aluminum-magnesium diaphragm has been developed. This unique diaphragm showcases its perfect balance, possessing delicacy and increased hardness. The driver ensures accurate performance and natural tonality.
Semi-Open Design
To maintain the air pressure within the acoustic chamber and provide comfortable sensations by reducing pressure on the ears, Shanling has designed the chamber of the MG600 with a semi-open structure. Enjoy your favorite music for countless hours without any discomfort or fatigue.
Cable
The MG600 uses the same cable as the ME700/ME800: an eight-conductor coaxial cable made of monocrystalline copper. The conductor wires are manufactured by the Japanese company Furukawa, known for producing high-quality cables.
The Shanling MG600 is equipped with the same interchangeable connectors found on the FiiO FD7/FD5/FD3. You can easily switch between 3.5mm, 4.4mm, and 2.5mm connectors using the same cable. This is a 30-second process that requires no tools, just a simple twist.
