The Sennheiser XSW IEM EK is a stereo bodypack wireless receiver, which is part of the XSW IEM SET in-ear personal wireless monitoring system. This receiver is used in combination with the separately available XSW IEM SR stereo transmitter. With the XSW IEM EK, you have the flexibility to create your own mono or stereo mix, adjust EQ, limiters, panning, and use Focus mode. This allows you to hear yourself clearly, along with the rest of the band, while having the freedom to move around on stage.

The XSW IEM EK is lightweight, weighing only 3.9 oz, including the batteries. It can be easily clipped on your clothing or belt, and is discreet and comfortable for the performer to wear. You can plug in the included IE 4 earphones or use your own optional earphones with the standard 3.5mm jack. The top LED indicates the battery and link status at a glance, while the front LCD panel allows you to fine-tune your personal mix using Balance and Focus modes, as well as the EQ and Limiter controls. The receiver operates for up to 6 hours on 2 AA batteries, which are included.
You have full control over your mix with flexible audio modes using the XSW IEM EK bodypack receiver. Whether you prefer Mono, Stereo, or Focus Mode settings, you can design your individual mix. The simple controls allow you to adjust the volume and panning for both left and right signals, achieving the best balance. For example, a singer can increase the vocal feed to hear themselves better, while the band can have more of the instrumental mix to stay in sync. Alternatively, you can engage the Focus mode, which combines both left and right signals, allowing you to prioritize what you want to hear in the foreground and push other instruments to the background. Advanced features include an EQ that boosts frequencies by 10 dB at 13 kHz, delivering more air and brightness. The Limiter feature helps protect your ears by capping the output volume at the receiver by -10 dB.
