The Sennheiser SR IEM G4-B is a transmitter for a professional personal monitoring system, compatible with the Evolution G4 series wireless receivers. The device transmits audio signals in the RF range of 626 – 668 MHz (B) at distances of up to 100 meters under ideal conditions. The transmitter is housed in a compact half-rack enclosure, allowing you to save space in a rack mount, as two units would only take up the space of a standard 1U enclosure. The device supports up to 16 compatible channels and has a bandwidth of up to 42 MHz. The maximum output power of 50 mW ensures accurate signal transmission over long distances without any loss of volume or frequency. The frequency range of 25 Hz to 15 kHz allows vocals and instruments to sound full and rich. All the relevant settings are displayed on the LCD screen located on the front panel, and the functionality can be easily controlled using a few buttons on the enclosure. The audio signal is transmitted using a removable antenna, with the input provided on a BNC connector.
There are two inputs on Combo Jack/XLR connectors that can accommodate microphone, line, and instrument signals. Balanced outputs on two 1/4" Jack TRS connectors are available for connecting to audio systems or mixing consoles. There is a separate headphone output on a 1/4" Jack TRS connector, with its own volume control. The RJ-45 port is used to connect one or several transmitters to a digital network for frequency management with the Sennheiser WSM software. The device is powered by a 12V DC power adapter, which is included in the package.
