The Sennheiser Profile USB is a compact condenser microphone with a USB-C connector and monitoring functions.

This device is suitable for narration work, streaming, recording and hosting podcasts, and traditional sound recording. The model has a cardioid polar pattern. The microphone operates in a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, supports a sampling frequency of up to 48 kHz, and has a signal resolution of up to 24 bits. The maximum sound pressure level is 125 dB at minimum gain and 85 dB at maximum gain. The sensitivity of the model at maximum gain is -10 dB at a sound pressure level of 80 dB, and at minimum gain, it is -50 dB at a sound pressure level of 80 dB.
For signal monitoring, a port is provided for connecting headphones with a TRS 1/8" (mini-jack) connector. The headphone volume level can be adjusted separately, allowing users to adjust the ratio of the microphone signal to the signal coming from the computer or connected mobile device.
The microphone is compatible with Windows 10 and newer operating systems, macOS 10.15 and newer. The device can be used with tablets and smartphones running iOS 14, iPadOS 14, Android 9, and newer. The device comes with only a cable for connecting the microphone to the computer. As an additional option, the company sells an extended version of the Profile USB, which includes a desktop mount (with 3/8" and 5/8" washers) and a built-in USB cable extender.
