Equidistant Grid - Easier Than It Sounds
Evolution Wireless Digital features an equidistant grid, meaning the carrier frequencies have the same spacing. Previously, this was only found in our flagship Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 wireless systems. High-quality components with exceptional linearity eliminate intermodulation between EW-D transmitters, allowing for even distribution of frequencies every 600 kHz. This greatly simplifies frequency coordination for beginners and professionals in wireless systems, and also allows for scalability to an impressively large number of channels.

The Sennheiser EW-D SK is a wireless digital transmitter compatible with EW-D receivers. Lightweight and comfortable to wear, it features a durable all-metal casing, making it ideal for daily use on stage.
The EW-D SK is equipped with a locking 3.5mm connector, designed for connecting a lavalier microphone or headset of your choice, or a cable adapter for guitar and bass. With a 134 dB input dynamic range, it can handle a wide range of sound sources, including loud vocalists and performers, instrument connections, and even line level signals from mixers, all without any gain adjustments.
The device features a mute button that can also be deactivated from the receiver or mobile device during a performance. It quickly connects to the receiver via Bluetooth at a distance of up to 100 meters with just one button press. Furthermore, the EW-D SK utilizes an equidistant tuning grid, evenly distributing 2240 frequencies across a wide 56 MHz bandwidth to prevent issues with intermittent intermodulation that can occur when multiple transmitters are used in close spaces.
