The Neumann KK 205 Supercardioid Condenser Capsule
The KK 205 is a capsule head with the highest sound quality thanks to the precision condenser capsule from Neumann. Unlike conventional stage microphones, the KK 205 from Neumann uses a true condenser capsule. At the same time, the KK 205 has the necessary durability for stage work.
The Neumann KK 205 can withstand enormous sound pressure levels of up to 150 dB without limitation; its uniform supercardioid characteristic ensures high feedback resistance. It has a much flatter frequency response and maximum amplitude than dynamic microphones, as well as significantly better impulse response. As a result, a more direct, emotional vocal sound is achieved.
