Description

The EW 100 G4-945-S radio microphone system is designed for singers, speakers, and musicians. The handheld transmitter with a built-in switch and the dynamic microphone head MMD 945 is ideal for professional live sound. The half-rack receiver in a solid metal housing with an intuitive LCD display has two audio outputs for connecting a speaker system or sound recorder. The built-in IR interface allows for easy synchronization of transmitter and receiver settings. The transmitter has an output power of 30 mW, providing a range of up to 100 meters.

Features:

  • Half-rack receiver for separate signals in a solid metal housing with an intuitive LCD display for full control.
  • Easy and flexible wireless synchronization between the transmitter and receiver via IR interface.
  • Fast frequency distribution between 12 receivers using a new connection feature.
  • Up to 20 compatible channels.
  • Bandwidth up to 42 MHz, 1680 selectable frequencies, fully customizable in a stable UHF range.
  • Transmission range: up to 100 meters.

Experience live sound at its best with the renowned Sennheiser e 865 capsule on a lightweight aluminum transmitter with a built-in sound switch.

The EM 100 G4 receiver comes in a compact half-rack housing, making it easy to mount in a rack unit, as a pair of these devices only takes up the space of a standard 1U housing. Mounting accessories are included for rack installation. There are two detachable antennas with BNC connectors, providing highly accurate signal reception and a wide operating range. Connection to a mixing console or guitar amplifier is made through two outputs, balanced and unbalanced, with XLR and 1/4" Jack TS connectors, respectively. The system allows for flexible customization, offering up to 20 compatible channels, a bandwidth of up to 42 MHz, and a noise suppression function with three modes: low, medium, and high. The front panel features several buttons and a large LCD display reflecting all current parameters. Up to 12 receivers can be connected simultaneously in one system, with two RJ10 ports for synchronization on each of them. Power is supplied by a 12V DC adapter.

The handheld transmitter with a power button on the SKM 100 G4-S body is combined with the MMD 945-1 microphone capsule, which is a dynamic supercardioid capsule. This type of capsule has higher sensitivity, a linear frequency response, and more natural sound than a dynamic microphone. Supercardioid ensures effective feedback and ambient noise suppression on the sides of the capsule, as well as excellent signal sensitivity in front and to a lesser extent behind it. Maximum sound pressure can reach 152 dB, and the frequency range extends from 80 Hz to 18 kHz. The transmitter has an output power of 30 mW. Power is supplied by two AA batteries, and the continuous operation time will depend on their quality and can reach up to 8 hours. The package also includes the MZQ 1 microphone holder for a stand.

The Sennheiser EW 100 G4-945-S-A1 is a professional vocal wireless system that allows for wireless microphone communication without additional equipment. The system features a wide operating range, convenient and easy operation, and customizable settings. The following accessories are included: MZQ 1 microphone holder, power adapter, two antennas, rack mounting kit, two AA batteries, and an RJ10 cable.

Omnidirectional, cardioid and supercardioid. It determines the sensitivity of the microphone to sound relative to the direction or angle, i.e. shows how well the microphone "hears" sound from different sides

Glossary of terms
supercardioid

The polar pattern of the microphone, which picks up the sound from the front and partially from the back.
