E 965 is a professional handheld vocal stage microphone with a large diaphragm.
It combines the best global achievements in the production of stage microphones with advanced developments by Sennheiser in the field of acoustics. It is the flagship model of the highly acclaimed and award-winning Evolution 900 series.
One of the advantages of this new model is the ability to switch between cardioid and supercardioid polar patterns.
For example, when there is high noise level on the stage, the vocalist can use a narrower directionality.
The low-cut filter effectively eliminates impact noises and reduces low-frequency noise.
The shockmount design prevents noise caused by contact with the microphone body, and it also has an integrated pop and wind protection.
"It's truly a fantastic microphone," says Stefan.
"The E 965 combines the power of live sound from the Evolution series with the high intelligibility of a true condenser microphone."
