Description

The Sennheiser E825S is a vocal condenser pre-polarized supercardioid microphone from the Evolution 800 series by renowned manufacturer Sennheiser.

It is designed for vocalists on stage. The supercardioid polar pattern provides good gain before feedback, and its uniform pattern offers excellent sound capture in a narrow area.

The noiseless on/off switch allows for instant muting of the sound during breaks or performances without affecting the audio signal.

It uses an XLR connector for connection. The microphone is housed in a solid metal body with a durable grille to protect the capsule.

The Sennheiser E825S comes with the MZQ 400 clamp for microphone stands and a soft case. The frequency response ranging from 40 Hz to 20 kHz covers the necessary spectrum and is optimized for vocal applications.

Features:

  • Durable metal body
  • Excellent feedback and off-axis sound suppression
  • Shock-mounted capsule

Impedance, Ohms

No higher than 32 Ohms for smartphone headphones. When using a good player or amplifier, it can be up to 100 Ohms. For stationary models you should coordinate the impedance with the amplifier power

Glossary of terms
350
Microphone polar pattern

Omnidirectional, cardioid and supercardioid. It determines the sensitivity of the microphone to sound relative to the direction or angle, i.e. shows how well the microphone "hears" sound from different sides

Glossary of terms
cardioid

The polar pattern of the microphone that picks up the sound in front of it.

Словарь терминов
Microphone type
dynamic

The membrane of a dynamic microphone picks up sound waves, which make a coil located in a magnetic field move.
