Description

The frequency response and cardioid pickup pattern of the microphone are optimized for drum setups and other percussion instruments, as well as providing exceptional results for all forms of brass and woodwind instruments. The built-in stand attaches directly to microphone stands with screws, and the included clip fastens the microphone to the drum rim. Handling very high sound pressure levels exceeding 160 dB, it delivers a balanced, clean signal with low distortion, similar to a high-quality studio condenser microphone. The lightweight sound coil provides extended high-frequency and fast transient response. The durable reinforced fiberglass body withstands shocks and suppresses drum noise.

Features:

  • Durable reinforced fiberglass body
  • Low sensitivity to impact and handling noise
  • Very high sound pressure handling capability
  • Low distortion microphone
  • Noise compensation coil
  • Easily positionable due to compact design
  • Built-in stand

Package includes:

  • E 604 microphone
  • Carrying case

Impedance, Ohms

No higher than 32 Ohms for smartphone headphones. When using a good player or amplifier, it can be up to 100 Ohms. For stationary models you should coordinate the impedance with the amplifier power

Glossary of terms

Microphone polar pattern

Omnidirectional, cardioid and supercardioid. It determines the sensitivity of the microphone to sound relative to the direction or angle, i.e. shows how well the microphone "hears" sound from different sides

Glossary of terms
cardioid

The polar pattern of the microphone that picks up the sound in front of it.

Словарь терминов
Microphone type
dynamic

The membrane of a dynamic microphone picks up sound waves, which make a coil located in a magnetic field move.
