The device has relatively small dimensions and with its well-chosen proportions, minimalist design, and quality external finish, it looks prestigious and expensive. The device is very easy to use even for novice audiophiles.
The tuner in the model is equipped with auto-tuning and memory for 8 stations in each range. For better signal reception, there is a telescopic antenna. The Ruark Audio R3S can be connected to a home Wi-Fi network and stream content using popular online services like Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, and Deezer. For convenient system control during streaming, the OKTIV app is available (iOS and Android).
Compact discs are still a great way to enjoy music, and the R3S player with high technical specifications allows users to reconnect with their CDs and rediscover the pleasure of viewing album covers and inserts. In addition to standard CDs, the R3S also plays homemade CDs encoded in WAV and MP3 formats, and displays track and artist information if available on the disc.
External signal sources are connected to the Ruark Audio R3S via the line input on RCA jacks or optical Toslink. External drives with MP3 files can be played by connecting them through the USB-C interface (also used for charging compatible mobile devices). The Ruark Audio R3S also has Bluetooth. The model features bass and treble tone adjustments, as well as tone compensation for listening to music at low volumes. A subwoofer can be connected to the system for deeper bass. The RS1 subwoofer is ideal for the R3S, adding an additional level of dynamic realism to its already impressive sound.
