The Rose RS250A is an expansion of the compact streamer family based on the Rose RS250 platform, but with several significant improvements in the digital-to-analog conversion block. The release of this new version marks a stage in the development and education of users, who can practically see how ROSE developers constantly improve sound quality.
Features:
- Extremely compact "desktop" design
- High-resolution audio 32-bit/768 kHz, DSD512
- High-resolution video 4K Ultra HD, HDMI output
- Linear power supply unit
- Flagship DAC ESS ES9028 Pro
- Clock generator with femtosecond accuracy
- Hidden Wi-Fi antennas.
The music library can be stored locally (USB drives, SSD can also be installed in RS250), in the network (NAS, network resources, UPnP/DLNA, Roon, ROSE Connect for laptops), connected via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Airplay from a mobile device, or streamed from internet services (TIDAL, QOBUZ, Spotify Connect).
The RS250A version differs from the RS250 variant only in the digital-to-analog conversion block scheme. Unlike the base platform, RS250A features a new DAC ESS ES9028 Pro, a new clock generator with femtosecond accuracy, a new integrated power stabilizer for the audio codec on ESS ES9311Q chip. The current-to-voltage converter at the DAC output is implemented differently: using 10 discrete operational amplifiers developed by Hi-Fi ROSE.
