RODE Wireless Me is a compact wireless system designed for video recording. It consists of an RX receiver and a TX transmitter with built-in omnidirectional microphones. This wireless system allows you to capture professional-quality audio and is suitable for interviews, podcasts, vlogging, reporting, presentations, and filmmaking. The RODE Wireless Me is a versatile system that is compatible with cameras, computers, smartphones, and tablets running on iOS or Android.
The system supports digital signal transmission using Series IV 2.4GHz with 128-bit encryption, ensuring crystal-clear recording with minimal interference. It has a working range of approximately 100 meters in an open space. Both the receiver and transmitter are equipped with high-quality omnidirectional microphones, allowing for two-way interviews and capturing sound in front of or behind the camera. The components of the system have a convenient clamp design, making it easy to attach them to clothing or mount them on a camera without additional accessories.
The wireless system features the same form factor as the original Wireless GO and incorporates innovative functions, including automatic microphone gain adjustment (GainAssist) with clipping protection. The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 7 hours of autonomous operation. For capturing audio from three sources, an additional transmitter can be connected to the system. The receiver features a USB-C port for charging and audio transmission, as well as an analog 1/8" TRS line output for connecting to cameras or recorders. The transmitter also includes a 1/8" TRS input for connecting an external lavalier microphone.
The RODE Wireless Me is fully compatible with smartphones running iOS (14 and newer) and Android (11 and newer), as well as computers running macOS (10.15) and Windows 10 (version 1803 and newer). Additionally, there is the RODE Capture app for content creation, and the RODE Central software allows for convenient customization of the Wireless ME system. The package includes two additional windshields, a storage pouch, two USB cables, and two audio cables (1/8" TRS and 1/8" TRRS).
