The PodMic is a broadcast-quality dynamic microphone optimized for podcasting. It delivers a rich, balanced sound and features an internal pop filter to minimize explosive sounds and internal shock mounting to reduce vibration.
The PodMic is designed for use in RODECaster Pro podcast studios and also delivers exceptional results with any high-quality microphone interface.
The dynamic microphone capsule has a cardioid pickup pattern, providing a powerful, rich sound. For classic connectivity to a mixer or audio interface, there is an XLR output on the bottom of the microphone. Additionally, the microphone is equipped with a built-in analog-to-digital converter, allowing you to connect the microphone via the USB-C port. It is also equipped with a built-in low-noise preamp Revolution Preamp with high gain.
Inside the device, there is an APHEX DSP processor for signal processing, allowing you to achieve studio-quality digital sound. Available processing tools include a high-pass filter, noise gate, compressor, and the legendary Aural Excite and Big Bottom effects. The DSP processor allows for real-time control of signal processing without any latency.
