RODE NTG5 Kit is a supercardioid condenser shotgun microphone specifically designed for capturing sound when filming with video cameras. This microphone is engineered to be used in field conditions and offers protection against moisture, dust, RF interference, as well as high and low temperatures. It is ideal for use with portable recorders due to its extremely low self-noise level.
The condenser microphone element has medium sensitivity and a wide frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The supercardioid polar pattern effectively suppresses any unwanted noise or sounds coming from the sides of the microphone, allowing it to focus on the audio signal from the front.
