RODE NT6 is a condenser microphone that comes with a detachable capsule, specifically designed for capturing high-quality audio in various fields such as film production, television, radio broadcasting, live performances, theaters, surround sound, and outdoor recording.
The microphone features a 0.5" capsule with a gold-plated membrane, which is securely attached to a specially designed full rotation mounting. It is connected to the preamplifier (body) using a reinforced 3m cable that utilizes Kevlar technology, ensuring durability and reliability.
The preamplifier circuit is constructed using surface mount technology and incorporates a 2-position attenuator, offering signal attenuation options of 0 dB and -10 dB. Additionally, there is a 2-position low-frequency roll-off filter, which can be used to control the microphone's response to bass frequencies. These controls are conveniently located away from the capsule, allowing for easy adjustments without having to alter the capsule's position.
