The RODE NT55 is a condenser microphone specifically designed for recording acoustic instruments, overhead drum sounds, cymbals, and live performances. This model, which is an upgraded version of the popular RODE NT5, features a gold-sputtered capsule and offers greater versatility.
The RODE NT55 offers exceptional performance with its low self-noise level and balanced output. It provides a wide dynamic range and frequency response. The microphone is constructed using durable satin nickel. Additionally, it includes a three-position low-frequency filter at 75Hz or 150Hz.
The NT55 comes with two interchangeable condenser capsules – one with a cardioid pattern and another with an omnidirectional pattern. This allows for a wide range of applications to be handled by a single microphone.
