Additionally, the microphone is equipped with an HF6 capsule with a large gold-sputtered diaphragm and offers a sound pressure level of up to 142 dB. The RODE Connect software allows users to utilize DSP for enhanced sound processing, including a compressor, noise gate, high-frequency filter, as well as Aural Exciter and Big Bottom effects.
The self-noise of this microphone is only 4 dBA, making it one of the quietest condenser microphones on the market. It features a built-in professional-level audio interface, an analog-to-digital converter with resolutions up to 192 kHz, and the Revolution Preamp. The frequency range of the model is 20 Hz - 20,000 Hz. The built-in processor allows for signal processing with a high-frequency filter and compression.
