This fur windscreen DeadCat VMPR is designed for the VideoMic Pro microphone and is intended for use in windy weather. Its artificial fur is specially made to minimize wind noise when recording sound.
DeadCat VMPR is only compatible with VideoMic Pro models with the Rycote® Lyre® anti-vibration mount included, released starting in May 2015. For VideoMic Pro models with a shock mount on a band, please see the windshield.
