Californication is the seventh studio album by the famous American funk rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, which was released in 1999 and gained great success, becoming the most commercially successful album of this group. The record includes such hits as Californication, Around the World, Otherside, as well as the song Scar Tissue, which won a Grammy Award in the category "Best Rock Song".
