A double vinyl reissue of Queen's first greatest hits collection, released in 1981.
The legendary British rock band Queen was founded in 1970 by Roger Taylor and Brian May, who were joined by vocalist Freddie Mercury and bass guitarist John Deacon.
Success came to Queen in 1975 with the release of the album "A Night at the Opera", which was already the fourth in the band's discography and became decisive for the development of the group.
The longplay went four times platinum, and a unique video with special effects, which were almost non-existent at the time, was shot for the song "Bohemian Rhapsody". Then Queen became a household name not only in Britain, but also in Canada, the USA and Japan. The band released fifteen studio albums, and eighteen of their hits rose to the top of the charts in different countries.
After the death of vocalist Freddie Mercury, Queen practically ceased their studio activity, but continued to perform live, attracting famous musicians to collaborate.
