The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 5 E features a two-way configuration. The low frequencies are reproduced by a 130mm driver with a fiberglass cone. Thanks to its elastic suspension and powerful magnetic system, the driver moves with a large amplitude, creating impressive sound pressure. The 25mm tweeter with a silk dome works on high frequencies, providing an airy and detailed stereo image.
The crossover is made of selected components in a scheme that ensures minimal phase distortion. As a result, the stereo image is focused and precise. To connect to the amplifier, there are a pair of gold-plated screw terminals provided.
The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 5 E speakers are housed in damped MDF cabinets. This ensures clear sound even at high volumes. To enhance the range of reproduced bass, the speakers are equipped with a bass reflex port on the rear panel.
The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 5 E speaker system has an elegant design and is available in four finish options: black gloss, white gloss, red gloss, and walnut wood. The protective grilles are attached with invisible magnetic holders, so there are no "extra" mounting elements on the front panels of the speakers.
