The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 5 E has a two-way configuration. The low frequencies are reproduced by a 130mm woofer with a fiberglass cone. Thanks to the elastic suspension and powerful magnetic system, the woofer moves with a large amplitude, creating an impressive sound pressure. The 25mm tweeter with a silk dome works on high frequencies, providing an airy and detailed stereo image.
The crossover is made of selected components in a scheme that ensures minimal phase distortion. As a result, the stereo image is focused and precise. A pair of gold-plated screw terminals are provided for connecting to the amplifier.
The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 5 E speakers are made in damped MDF cabinets. Thanks to this, the speakers have a clear sound even at high volume. To extend the range of reproduced bass, the speakers are equipped with a bass reflex port on the rear panel.
The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 5 E speaker system has an elegant design and is available in four finish options: glossy black, glossy white, glossy red, and walnut wood. Protective grilles are attached with invisible magnetic holders, so there are no "extra" mounting elements on the front panels of the speakers.
