Pro-Ject covers the top surface of the platter with thermoplastic elastomer to prevent record slippage. A belt-drive flywheel ensures smooth rotation while the Flywheel system eliminates motor-induced vibrations. The built-in speed control allows easy switching between 33 1/3 RPM and 45 RPM modes.
The Pro-Ject Signature 10 turntable chassis is made of high-quality MDF filled with metal granules for added weight and vibration suppression. Magnetic feet physically isolate the turntable from its surface, reducing resonance and allowing for a pure and high-quality sound experience.
The uniquely designed Pro-Ject Signature 10 tonearm is made of aluminum and offers wide adjustment ranges for easy cartridge installation. The turntable comes with an MC cartridge, the Ortofon MC Cadenza Black, which provides high detail, tonal consistency, and a spacious soundstage.
The Ortofon MC Cadenza Black features a Nude Shibata stylus with a boron cantilever and a 6NX Aucurum gold-plated copper wire coil. It also utilizes a Wide Range Damping system (WRD) found in higher-end exclusive models. The MC Cadenza Black is produced at the Ortofon factory in Denmark.
