The Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 turntable is based on the very successful E model and is actually its further development. The player retains the concept that defined the predecessor's success - the Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 is a vinyl player assembled on an "all-in-one" principle, but without compromising on its main function - playing analog records.
To achieve this goal, the Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 is based on the classic construction of this company's turntable, with all the necessary electronics built into the chassis. The unit has the necessary vibration isolation, all basic settings, and has the traditional high reliability of the company's models, but its range of functions is truly impressive.
The new model features an acrylic platter with good damping characteristics and an 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm. The tonearm is equipped with the Pick-It 25A cartridge, optimized specifically for use with this turntable. The unit has a belt drive with manual speed change for 33/45 RPM, and its bearing is precision-made from bronze and stainless steel.
The Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 features a built-in phono preamp, assembled using the same scheme as the company's Box Design series models, as well as a stereo amplifier with 2 x 50W power output operating in class D. To connect speakers (the only thing needed to complete the system with the Pro-Ject Juke Box S2), reliable screw terminals are provided on the rear panel of the player. Also located here are RCA line input connectors (for another signal source), outputs with fixed and adjustable signal levels, and a phono output. The Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 also includes built-in Bluetooth for wireless connection to mobile devices.
To control the player, there is a large backlit LCD display on the top panel. The Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 comes with a remote control, dust cover, speaker cables, and damping supports.
The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 5 S2 bookshelf speakers are ideal for Hi-Fi systems in medium-sized rooms. Despite their compact size, these speakers provide rich bass and a dense, energetic sound. The Speaker Box 5 S2 speakers are made using high-quality components, and their reliable MDF enclosures look very attractive thanks to the quality finish. The front speaker grilles have invisible magnetic holders.
