This record player resulted from the collaboration between Pro-Ject and the famous global chain of cafes and restaurants Hard Rock Cafe, which have a direct connection to the music industry.
The Pro-Ject Primary Hard Rock Cafe Recordplayer is based on the Primary model and has a reliable construction, as well as being easy to use. The unit has a solid chassis with good anti-vibration characteristics, designed in the interior style of Hard Rock Cafe and adorned with corresponding logos. Mounted on the chassis is an MDF platter, complemented by a damping mat. The platter is placed on a steel bearing with low vibration levels, ensuring smooth rotation.
The Pro-Ject Primary Hard Rock Cafe Recordplayer features a synchronous low-noise motor and operates from an external DC power source. The motor is attached to the chassis through a damping insert and has a pulley with grooves of two different diameters for manual speed selection (33 or 45 RPM). For additional mechanical decoupling, the record player is placed on damping supports.
The Pro-Ject Primary Hard Rock Cafe Recordplayer comes with a high-quality 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm with sapphire bearings, pre-installed with an Ortofon OM5e cartridge. The tracking force and anti-skate on the tonearm are factory set, making the setup and adjustment of the Pro-Ject Primary Hard Rock Cafe Recordplayer very straightforward.
The record player has a non-detachable cable with gold-plated RCA connectors and can be connected to any integrated amplifier or AV receiver with a built-in MM phono stage. The package includes an acrylic dust cover.
