The Pro-Ject MaiA DS integrated amplifier from the DS Line is distinguished by solid functional and switching equipment. The model has a full range of digital and analog inputs, a DAC and a Bluetooth system with support for the aptX codec for wireless playback of audio files in CD quality. Pro-Ject MaiA DS can connect up to 9 sources simultaneously.

The model is assembled in a metal case, which is mounted on damping legs made of TPE thermoplastic elastomer. In the center of the Pro-Ject MaiA DS's aluminum front panel there is a motorized volume control. On the left side there is a power/standby button with an LED diode and a 6.3 mm headphone jack.
On the right side are two input selector keys with LEDs located between them, signaling the choice of one source or another. And above there is a button with an LED indicator for establishing Bluetooth pairing, three IR emitters and LEDs indicating the type of DSD signal being received.
