The turntable chassis is made from a solid MDF plate to protect against vibrations. An 8-layer coating is manually applied to the chassis for durability. The turntable body is resistant to mechanical damage and aesthetically pleasing. Debut EVO 2 comes with height-adjustable dampened metal feet for perfect leveling and high-quality sound.
The aluminum platter of the Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is internally dampened with a TPE ring to eliminate unwanted resonances. The 1.7 kg platter weight ensures stability during rotation. The EVO 2 platter is anti-magnetic and allows for the use of MC cartridges and a True Balanced Connection technology (requires compatible cables and phono preamp).
The Debut EVO 2 features a high-quality 8.6-inch tonearm with a carbon fiber tube and a massive aluminum bearing construction. The low-friction tonearm bearing ensures precise and stable tracking. The carbon construction provides high rigidity, low weight, incredible sound quality, and a convincing soundstage.
The headshell for cartridge mounting is integrated with the tonearm tube to prevent unwanted resonances and ensure a secure physical connection with the cartridge. The branded MM cartridge Pro-Ject Pick It MM EVO is preinstalled on the tonearm.
The motor vibration isolation in the Debut EVO 2 eliminates operating noise. This technical solution borrowed from Pro-Ject's High-End models has proven its effectiveness.
