The Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is a belt-drive vinyl turntable with electronic speed switching between 33 ⅓ and 45 RPM. It features an 8.6-inch carbon tonearm and comes pre-fitted with the Pick It MM EVO MM cartridge. This model is easy to set up and use, providing natural and clean sound. The turntable is handcrafted at the company's own factory in Europe.
The chassis of the turntable is made from a single MDF plate to protect against vibrations. It is manually coated with an 8-layer finish for added durability and aesthetic appeal. The Debut EVO 2 comes with height-adjustable dampened metal feet to ensure the perfect positioning for optimal sound quality.
The platter of the Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is made of aluminum and internally dampened with a TPE ring to eliminate unwanted resonances. It weighs 1.7 kg for stability and is antimagnetic, allowing for the use of MC cartridges and True Balanced Connection technology (requires compatible cables and phono preamp).
Equipped with a high-quality 8.6-inch carbon tonearm with a massive aluminum bearing construction, the Debut EVO 2 ensures precise and stable tracking. The carbon fiber material provides high rigidity while maintaining a low weight, resulting in exceptional sound quality and a convincing soundstage.
The headshell for cartridge mounting is integrated with the tonearm tube to prevent unwanted resonances and ensure a solid physical connection with the cartridge. The proprietary MM Pick It MM EVO cartridge comes pre-mounted on the tonearm.
The motor vibration isolation in the Debut EVO 2 reduces operational noise significantly. This technical solution borrowed from Pro-Ject's High End models has proven its effectiveness.
