Description

In 2018, 50 years have passed since the release of The Beatles album "Yellow Submarine", and Pro-Ject celebrated this anniversary by releasing a themed vinyl turntable. The turntable base is made of MDF and cut in the shape of the famous yellow submarine. Attached closer to the tail is an S-shaped tonearm with an Ortofon Concorde cartridge in a yellow Sonar version, specially created for this project. The tonearm itself is made of aluminum and rotates on a sapphire bearing. The turntable platter is glass and transparent, with a yellow sub-platter visible underneath, rotated by a belt. The speed switch is manual, with options for 33 and 45 RPM. The developers also took care of vibration isolation by placing the turntable on special anti-vibration feet.

Features:

  • Belt drive;
  • Pre-installed Ortofon Sonar cartridge;
  • Limited edition;
  • Anti-vibration feet;
  • High-precision and lightweight aluminum tonearm;
  • Gold-plated contacts.

Package includes:

  • Vinyl turntable;
  • Power supply;
  • Adapter;
  • Ortofon Sonar cartridge;
  • Documentation.
