The compact CD transport PRIMARE DD15 is in some ways a simplified version of the PRIMARE CD15. It does not have a built-in digital-to-analog converter and cannot be controlled through connections. The DD15 is equipped with the same Philips CDM-M10 slot-loading CD drive as the CD15, which is also well isolated from external vibrations.

PRIMARE DD15 is designed to be connected to digital-to-analog converters such as those in Primare I15, I25 DAC, I25, I35 DAC, or I35. It is a good solution if your audio system already has a DAC, as purchasing a CD player with its own DAC is not necessary. It has Toslink and coaxial S/PDIF (RCA) digital outputs. The chassis is made of steel. The package includes the C25 RC IR remote control.
