The built-in acoustic system Polk Audio V65 delivers powerful, rich sound and can be used both in stereo systems for high-quality music playback and in a home theater.
The speaker is built on an ABS chassis that is resistant to mechanical stress and does not resonate at high volume. When properly mounted, the Polk Audio V65 is practically invisible in the interior thanks to its narrow frame and flat protective grille.
The Polk Audio V65 features a two-way configuration and is equipped with proprietary speakers designed using the patented Dynamic Balance technology. This technology optimizes all parameters of the electromagnetic speaker system, as well as the chassis and other mechanical components, through computer modeling.
This results in a significant reduction in sound distortion, especially at high power levels, as well as an overall increase in speaker sensitivity. The low-frequency driver in the Polk Audio V65 has a 6.5-inch diameter and features a lightweight and rigid polypropylene cone with a butyl rubber surround.
The powerful magnetic system allows for linear diaphragm displacement with a large amplitude, providing significant sound pressure in medium-sized rooms, as well as deep and well-defined bass. The tweeter in the Polk Audio V65 features a 1-inch silk dome and is mounted on a swiveling bracket that allows for directional orientation.
The drivers are connected to a crossover filter made of high-reliability components in a simple scheme, with minimal distortion and stable impedance levels. The speaker is equipped with a pair of gold-plated push terminals for connecting the input cable.
The design of the Polk Audio V65 speaker allows for installation directly into a prepared wall niche or the use of the optional mounting box PB LC65i. The basic version of the speaker comes in a white finish, but it can be painted in any other color if desired.
