Polk Audio has developed the Turbine woofer specifically for the flagship Legend series to provide natural reproduction of the mid-range frequencies, to which human ears are particularly sensitive. The core of the woofer is made of Polk Audio's proprietary foamed polymer, and the special asymmetrical geometry significantly increases rigidity and damping without adding mass.
