The Polk Audio VS65 RT is a high-quality in-wall two-way loudspeaker that can be used at home or in offices to deliver high-quality sound. The main feature of this model is its "invisibility" (Vanishing series), achieved through discreet placement. The white acoustic grille is virtually transparent, with ultra-fine perforation and a magnetic edge mount. It protrudes only 7mm from the wall and can be painted to match the interior color.
The 6.5" woofer in the Polk Audio VS65 RT is a mineral-filled polypropylene driver with rubber suspension. The 1" tweeter features a silk-polymer composite dome. The speaker incorporates Dynamic Balance technology to eliminate unwanted resonances. It also includes the signature Power Port phase inverter with a special shape to reduce turbulence and distortion, resulting in deeper and richer lower frequencies.
The Polk Audio VS65 RT is equipped with two filters that operate in a narrow band to compensate for room acoustics. The first filter attenuates "ringing" by adjusting the tweeter level in the 4-5 kHz range to counteract reflections from room surfaces. The second filter acts in the 50-200 Hz range to prevent boomy sound when the speaker is placed too close to side walls. Simply toggle the switch to optimize the speaker's response without sacrificing deep bass.
This speaker is tonally compatible with all other Polk Audio RTi series speakers. Installation is made easy with the included Perfect Fit templates and patented Rotating Cam system.
