The new Auto BPM Transition function allows easy mixing of musical genres with completely different tempos. Select the number of bars for the transition, and when the button is pressed, the playing track will gradually change tempo to match the tempo of a track from another deck, allowing you to smoothly mix or insert a new track. Additionally, during the transition, you can set Stems, Auto Loop, and Key Lock parameters.
Just like in Pitch Play mode, you can use the 16 touch-sensitive keys to trigger cue points in different semitones. In the new Piano Play mode, changing the pitch is done in such a way that touch-sensitive keys form a piano keyboard, with "white" keys in the lower row and "black" keys in the upper row. Even if you haven't delved deep into music theory and tonality, you can easily play a melody by selecting one of 3 modes.
With a wide range of inputs and outputs, including XLR master output ideal for professional use, the DDJ-REV5 can be used as the center of a large configuration.
