Novation Peak - an eight-voice synthesizer with three new Oxford oscillators for each voice. The synthesis includes a resonant multi-mode analog filter for each voice and three distortion points in the analog signal chain.
Classic design and new sound
Designed by Chris Huggett - the man behind Bass Station, Supernova, OSCar, and many other legendary synthesizers. Each voice in Novation Peak has three oscillators, as well as an analog filter with cutoff and resonance control. The oscillators' sound in Peak is fully analog, utilizing Numerically-Controlled Oscillators (NCO) for generation, with flexibility provided by 17 digital wavetables.
Extensive creative capabilities
Peak features a 16-slot modulation matrix, Aftertouch function, and 256 factory patches. Effects available to the user include delay, chorus, and reverb. The synthesizer also includes three ADSR envelope generators, an analog Low-Pass / High-Pass / Band-Pass filter with resonance and slope control.
Versatility and reliability
The robust metal chassis protects the synthesizer from external influences. The front panel features an OLED display showing parameter information, while the rear panel includes TRS Out Left / Right, Headphones, 3.5mm CV Mod In, 6.3mm Sustain / Exp, Midi In / Out / Thru jacks, and a USB interface for connecting to a computer.
