Novation Launchkey 25 MK3 is an intuitive MIDI keyboard controller that is fully integrated for use with Ableton Live and external equipment. The third-generation Launchkey keyboards have retained all the best features of the previous models and have gained a range of new functions: a powerful arpeggiator with Mutate function, Scale and Chord modes that can be used independently, and a 5 DIN MIDI output. The Scale mode transposes the keys into notes of the selected scale, while the Chord mode plays chords with just a single touch. The front panel now features a display for visualizing parameters and their changes. The 8 Scale modes of the Launchkey MK3 transpose the keys into notes of the selected scale. The 3 Chord modes turn the keys and pads into an interactive panel where each note played is tonally and harmonically related.
Arpeggiator:
The arpeggiator allows you to explore new melodies and quickly find ideas, while the "Mutate" function transforms patterns into new forms. Custom modes simplify the interaction between the Novation Launchkey MK3 and software. They can be programmed using Novation Components and allow you to customize the behavior of the Launchkey: control functions, MIDI routing, pad colors, and more. The large pads with improved sensitivity provide better control over dynamics. The 8 fixed knobs provide software control.
Expanded Software Support:
Integration with Ableton Live is facilitated by dedicated buttons: Capture MIDI, Track Arm, Quantize, Click, and Loop. In addition to Ableton Live, Launchkey also offers full integration with Logic and Reason, as well as compatibility with Studio One, Cubase, and Pro Tools via HUI.
