The Novation Launchkey 37 MK3 is an intuitively designed MIDI keyboard that allows you to quickly create and perform music in Ableton Live. Custom modes and a full-sized MIDI output transform the Launchkey 37 into the centerpiece of any musician's workstation.
Integration with Ableton Live:
Through close collaboration with Ableton, Novation has expanded the control capabilities of their Live software. Special buttons are provided for activating Capture MIDI, Track Arm, quantization, Click, and Loop for session navigation. Additionally, the Launchkey 37 MK3 offers full integration with Logic and Reason, as well as compatibility with other DAWs including Studio One, Cubase, and Pro Tools through HUI.
Expanded musical possibilities:
Inspiring features such as Scale/Chord modes and an arpeggiator expand the creative possibilities for musicians. The Scale mode transposes keys and pads into notes of the selected scale, while the three Chord modes allow for one-touch playback of correct chords. The arpeggiator quickly plays back melodies.
Custom modes:
The keyboard is equipped with a full-sized 5-pin MIDI output, which works with any MIDI-compatible device. Novation Components is used to configure four custom modes, allowing for programming and hardware control of rotary knobs, faders, and pads.
Stand-alone operation:
The Launchkey 37 can also function independently, making it the perfect controller for any music creation scenario, whether with or without a computer. The Scale and Chord modes, as well as custom modes, can be used to control hardware studio or live rigs.
