Launch Control XL MK II
The Launch Control XL is a controller designed for use with Ableton Live. It helps you focus more on the music and less on your laptop. The Launch Control XL features 16 buttons, 24 knobs, and 8 faders, all perfectly integrated with Live, providing full control of the application. Combined with the intuitive grid of 64 pads from Launchpad, it allows for simultaneous control of Ableton Live sessions, mixer, effects, and instruments.
Focus on creating music
The Launch Control XL allows you to spend less time looking at the screen thanks to the readily available controls that seamlessly integrate with Ableton Live. The 24 knobs are arranged in 3 rows that mirror the Ableton Live mixer. They are equipped with colorful LED backlighting that helps distinguish sends, EQs, and other devices. Eight sturdy 60mm faders provide precise level control, while the 16 colorful buttons allow for instant focus on tracks and mixer control.
Create your own control layouts
You can assign any parameters to the buttons, knobs, and faders, creating your own configurations in Ableton Live. You can also set custom colors and easily switch between user-assigned and built-in Live functions.
Control Cubase, Logic, and Pro Tools using the HUI protocol
The Launch Control XL supports the Mackie HUI protocol, providing all the necessary control not only for Live but also for Cubase, Logic, and Pro Tools. In HUI mode, the sliders directly correspond to the faders for adjusting volume in audio software, the rotary knobs above them adjust panning and five sends, Track Select buttons switch sets of eight tracks/channels, and the bottom row of buttons corresponds to Mute, Solo, or Record Arm. The top two rows of knobs can be customized to your preference.
A versatile controller for performances and home studios
Sleek, lightweight, and durable, the Launch Control XL fits easily in a backpack and can handle any live performance demands. It is powered via USB, requiring no additional power source. The controller can easily connect to Mac, Windows, or iOS devices, and can control all MIDI-compatible software for iOS, requiring only a Camera Connection Kit (sold separately). Included with all Launch products is Ableton Live Lite and an impressive collection of free Loopmasters samples.
