The company Noble Audio has introduced the compact Bluetooth transmitter Sceptre - a device designed to improve sound quality when streaming from smartphones, tablets, and computers wirelessly. This is the brand's first experience in the segment of external Bluetooth transmitters: previously, Noble specialized mainly in wired and fully wireless portable headphones.

The Noble Audio Sceptre adapter functions as an external transmitter, bypassing the limitations of built-in Bluetooth modules in gadgets. It provides access to higher quality codecs - LDAC and aptX Adaptive, as well as AAC and SBC. Thanks to this, compatible headphones and speakers can receive a higher quality signal regardless of the capabilities of the source device.

The device is based on the Qualcomm QCC5181 chip with Bluetooth 5.4 support. According to the manufacturer, moving the signal transmission to an external module ensures a more stable connection and a wide range of codecs for sources operating on different platforms. Standard A2DP, HFP, and AVRCP profiles are supported for music, calls, and basic playback control.
The adapter is connected via USB-C, with pass-through charging included: the source device can be charged simultaneously with the dongle in use. The wireless range is stated to be up to 20 meters, and compatibility extends to TWS earbuds, over-ear models, and active speakers. The initial setup is done through the Noble proprietary app, after which the device can be freely used with any compatible USB-C gadgets.
