Nirvana is an American rock band formed in 1987 by guitarist and vocalist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic. During its short existence (the band broke up in 1994 after the death of Kurt Cobain), the team released 3 studio and 3 live albums, as well as several compilations. The total circulation of records exceeded 50 million copies.
