The Naim streaming platform.
The heart of the second generation Mu-so is the Naim streaming platform. It took our team of 25 engineers 3 years to develop this platform. The Naim platform provides the best sound reproduction for your own digital music collection, internet radio, and music streaming services such as TIDAL and Spotify. These innovative features are inherent in all Naim streaming products, including the Uniti players and network players, including the flagship ND 555.
Digital signal processor.
The new multicore digital signal processor provides 2000 MIPS (million instructions per second) - 500 more than the original Mu-so's single-core processor. This means that the sound will be even more musical.
A new limiter algorithm has been developed to control the movement of the second generation Mu-so speakers at high volume levels. The new limiter is only activated at the highest volume levels and helps maintain sound clarity and increase the longevity of the speakers.

Optimized speakers.
The second generation Mu-so boasts 450 watts of musical power complemented by improved and optimized speakers - a joint project of Naim and Focal's research and development departments. Focal has been producing benchmark speakers since 1979, and their expertise has elevated the speaker's performance to a new level.
New intuitive interface.
The new intuitive interface features 15 touch-sensitive buttons and a large illuminated volume dial. The display wakes up thanks to the built-in proximity sensor.
95% complete modernization.
The second generation Mu-so features a new elegant wooden enclosure with a new gray finish. While the Mu-so of different generations may look similar on the outside, most of the components inside have undergone significant modernization. The redesigned enclosure now has 13% more internal volume, which improves bass sound. The structural connections and front panel have been improved to increase rigidity and reduce vibrations. The distinctive heat sink is now more compact but still highly efficient. It also houses Naim's signature Wi-Fi antenna.
Updated Naim app.
The updated Naim app provides navigation by artists, genres, albums, etc., along with album covers and extended music information. The app also allows you to adjust volume, lighting, acoustic modes, and create playlists.
