The Music Hall MMF-9.3 turntable is a high-quality audiophile turntable with many unique features. It features a three-plinth construction with an external motor, all housed in a vibration-absorbing chassis with a glossy lacquer finish.

Three-Plinth Base
The base features three adjustable pointed feet with protective discs to prevent scratching the surface it sits on. The top plinth includes a spirit level, and the plinths are separated by Sorbothane synthetic urethane hemispheres acting as a suspension and vibration isolation system. The lower plinth houses external audio connectors and comes with a high-quality connecting cable.
Motor
The 15-volt AC motor is located at the front left corner of the turntable. The speed control system powers the motor at 50Hz instead of 60Hz (as the motor runs quieter at 50Hz). The motor is isolated from the turntable and equipped with a blue LED light. Its diagonal position from the tonearm reduces vibration transmitted to the cartridge through the drive belt. Speed switching between 33 1/3 and 45 RPM is done with a button press.
Platter
The belt wraps around a 1-inch acrylic platter chosen for its excellent acoustic qualities and isolating properties. The platter rotates on an ultra-quiet inverted ceramic bearing and comes with a soft felt mat.
Tonearm
The turntable features the Project 9cc tonearm, a full 9-inch carbon fiber tonearm with a headshell made of carbon fiber. It uses four Swiss ABEC 7 hardened bearings in an inverted bearing design. The counterweight's center of gravity is aligned with the stylus tip. The counterweight acts as a resonance damper and is isolated from the tonearm. The tonearm also has adjustable vertical tracking angle (VTA), a damped lift, and high-quality internal wiring made of specially purified copper.
