The Music Hall MMF-5.3 turntable consists of two platforms isolated from each other by six Sorbothane shock absorbers.
It features a belt drive, a steel main bearing with Teflon coating, a two-speed synchronous DC motor decoupled from the table through elastic bushings, a dynamically balanced main platter made of non-magnetic stainless steel with a felt mat.
Carbon tonearm with adjustable tracking force, damped micro lift, anti-skating, high-purity copper conductors, gold-plated RCA connectors. Special adjustable anti-vibration feet.
The turntable comes equipped with an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge. The Ortofon 2M series is designed for precise and accurate extraction of information from the record groove. The 2M series was developed in collaboration with Danish industrial designer Møller Jensen Design - the same designer who created the award-winning MC Jubilee and Kontrapunkt series. Inspired by the facets of a diamond, whose contours elegantly mimic the grooves on a vinyl record surface, the 2M represents a combination of form and functionality.
