The Music Hall MMF-5.3 turntable consists of two platforms isolated from each other by six sorbothane dampers.
Belt drive, steel support bearing with Teflon coating, two-speed synchronous DC motor isolated from the table through elastic bushes, dynamically balanced support disc made of non-magnetic stainless steel with a felt mat.
Carbon tonearm with adjustable tracking force, damped cueing device, anti-skating, cables made of ultra-pure copper, gold-plated RCA connectors. Special adjustable vibration damping feet.
The turntable comes equipped with an Ortofon 2M Blue (MM) cartridge. The 2M series is designed for precise extraction of information from the record groove. The 2M series was developed in collaboration with Danish industrial designer Møller Jensen Design - the same designer who created the award-winning MC Jubilee and Kontrapunkt series. Inspired by the facets of a diamond, whose contours elegantly follow the grooves on the record surface, the 2M combines form and functionality.
