The Music Hall MMF-5.3 turntable consists of two platforms isolated from each other by six sorbothane shock absorbers.
Belt drive, steel support bearing with Teflon coating, dual-speed synchronous DC motor isolated from the table through elastic bushes, dynamically balanced stainless steel support disc with felt mat.
Carbon tonearm with adjustable tracking force, damped lift, anti-skate, ultra-pure copper conductors, gold-plated RCA connectors. Special adjustable anti-vibration feet.
The turntable is equipped with an Ortofon 2M Blue MM cartridge. The Ortofon 2M series is designed for accurate and precise retrieval of information from the record groove. The 2M series was developed in collaboration with Danish industrial designer Møller Jensen Design - the same designer who created the award-winning MC Jubilee and Kontrapunkt series. Inspired by the facets of a diamond, whose contours elegantly follow the grooves on the surface of the record, the 2M series combines form and functionality.
