These wired in-ear headphones are equipped with a wideband dynamic driver with a 7.8mm Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) composite diaphragm and flexible suspension. Moondrop engineers have implemented a magnetic system based on powerful N52 magnets and a lightweight CCAW voice coil, allowing for a frequency range of 20Hz - 20kHz.
The Quark 2 headphones connect via USB Type-C and include a built-in 40nm SoC with integrated DSP, CPU, RAM, and decoding AMP. The device supports hardware decoding of PCM audio signals with parameters up to 32-bit/384kHz and complies with UAC 2.0 standards, ensuring compatibility with Android, Windows, and iOS devices. The distortion level is ≤0.5% at 1kHz.
The design of the model features a comfortable and lightweight bullet-shaped construction with dual acoustic filters made from various damping materials. The transparent housing is complemented by a metal insert with exterior holes. The inner cavity is designed to provide dynamic bass, while the acoustic filter, installed immediately after the driver, attenuates harsh high frequencies while preserving details.
The headphone cable is 1.2m long, equipped with a three-button multimedia control and built-in microphone. Sound adjustment is based on the Virtual Diffuse Field Equalization (VDSF) curve.
